Our double door blower check valves are specially equipped for blower service in treatment plant aeration systems. Valves feature cast iron/steel bodies with a protective coating and 316 stainless steel internals for durability. Low torque springs miniuize backpressure and EPDM Seals fated to 300 F are bonded securely to the valve body.
Water valves are designed for mounting between standard Class 125/150 co***nion flanges and can easily be removed for inspection simply by removing the flange bolts. When installing and blower check valve with positive displacement blowers, we recommend locating the valve after the discharge silencer or at least 10 pipe diameters away from the blower and away from 90D elbow. Check valves last much longer when airflow is smooth and laminar.
